Co-working / Vicki Semanie

Greetings ladies and gentlemen (the term is to be loosely applied),

Welcome to those new to Serendipity. As always, the premises of this newsletter can be found in the provenance email.

When global tensions rise due to insufferable human atrocities, I find regular tasks like writing emails hastily lose their significance. I stare at the empty page, pondering, why bother? Who cares? It is so hard to keep on keeping on. If anyone has any tips on how to avoid the procrastination-inducing belief that we are headed into World War III, I would greatly appreciate the pep talk.

On a slightly less pessimistic note…

I recently left my home office to start working in a co-working space to give Steph a break from my constant pestering as we have been seated in close proximity since before COVID. Given most people’s remote working preference, it might seem odd that someone would voluntarily commute for 45 minutes to sit at a smaller desk with a less comfortable chair. Despite the sensory drawbacks of reheated salmon leftovers, loud chewing, and awkward conversations, it has felt both nostalgic and new. I don’t know what the future holds for the workplace but I am currently enjoying leaving my charger in the office and the Tupperware in the fridge until it gets moldy.

Following another month of succoring emails and video catch-ups, I was struck by how many people are stuck, struggling, or searching for a new way to move forward. Equally, I was inspired by people’s ability to share their vulnerabilities even in their times of challenge. That is why it seems fitting that I should introduce you to the wise, kind, and gracious Vicki Semanie this month.

Vicki Semanie & Seven Stones Life Coaching

As a certified life coach, Vicki is on a mission to help people live the lives they dream about. She is particularly adept at helping women who are in a life transition. This could be a student entering the workforce, a caregiver transitioning back to full-time work, or even a workaholic executive transitioning into retirement. As a former CFO, she knows how to get things done, maintain accountability, and adapt to life’s changes.

If you know someone who is facing challenges, transitioning in life, or who has the potential to be more than they are, give Vicki a call. Come to think of it, I would argue that with the holidays around the corner, giving the gift of life coaching sessions beats whatever crappy fruit basket or branded Yeti cup your company was thinking of sending out!
